Enrolment Information
New Enrolments
St Luke’s Health Centre is currently accepting a limited number of new enrolments. To apply, please contact Reception 03 548 1858. You will be asked to provide:
- A valid photo ID (e.g. passport or driver licence)
- Proof of eligibility to be enrolled in the New Zealand public health system (e.g. NZ birth certificate, NZ passport, or valid visa)
- For children under 16, a parent or legal caregiver must complete the enrolment on their behalf
Once your enrolment has been processed, all adult patients are required to attend a new patient appointment with a nurse, which carries a fee of $35. This initial consultation allows us to understand your medical history and ensure continuity of care.

- Diabetes Check: Free annual Doctor and Nurse review of your diabetes care.
- Care Plus: Reduced cost visit and care plan with a Doctor and/or Nurse.
- Mental Health: If you are suffering from anxiety or depression please speak with one of our team. Some funds are available for counselling if required.
- Green Prescription: Assisting you to develop healthy exercise habits.
- Dietitian: Clinics held as required.
Fees & Consultations
Important Update to Our Fees
To our valued patients,
We’ve held off increasing our fees for as long as possible, but due to rising costs, we’ve had to make a change.
From 4 June 2026, a standard GP appointment (non-CSC) will be $65.
If cost is a concern, please talk to us — we’re here to help and don’t want this to be a barrier to care.

The fees shown here are for enroled patients and refer to a standard 15 minute consultation with a doctor. (Extended length appointments will be a double charge.)
- It is our policy that payment is to be made on the day of the consultation unless prior arrangements have been made.
- An administration fee of $10 will be added if accounts are unpaid within 14 days.
- Please ask reception for our automatic payment details if you would prefer to pay by this method.
Standard Fees:
- Under 14 years: Free
- 14 to 17 years: $49.00
- 18 to 24 years: $62.00
- 25 to 64 years: $65
- 65+ years: $62.00
Community Services Card:
- Under 14 years: Free
- 14 to 17 years: $13.50
- 18 to 24 years: $20
- 25 to 64 years: $20
- 65+ years: $20
